Good Sushi & a Good Show
  Posted Sep 28, 2008 by Lem3Gal
I love the sushi here. A previous reviewer said something about bubble tea but I've never seen this on their menu and red bell pepper in their spicey tuna, again I've never had that there either. It leads me to believe they reviewed the wrong Kyoto's. They have the best salmon and unagi in the area. Better still is their spicey scallop nigiri and best yet is the Kyoto Hand Roll which comes with the spicey scallop mixture and a tempura shrimp - heavenly. I never hesitate to recommend this restaurant.

As my companion says about their green tea bubble tea, "it's liquid ass". The Cali Rolls wern't bad, but they wern't good. Don't eat the Salmon Roll unless you want to be surprised buy hunks of cream cheese. The Spicey Tuna on the oter hand had huge chunks of red bell pepper, which didn't add up. There wern't a lot of people there, but the service still wsn't very good, very slow. If you don't want to be shocked by the bubble tea, be aware that they put strawberry somthing in it. All in all, not worth it unless you're in a pinch and starving. I'm sure the hot food is much better, and I'm willing to go again to try it, but other than that, never again will I get their sushi.

Kyoto Steak House and Sushi Bar is a great place for a gathering or a date. Subtly divided in the middle, you can choose to enjoy the fanfare of the hibachi or the calm of the sushi bar. The fish is fresh, the prices are reasonable, and the service is friendly and helpful. The Pacific Roll is simple and lovely and the Spider Roll is FABULOUS! Plus, there's plenty on the menu for guests who aren't comfortable with a pure sushi meal.
