SUSHI MONSTERS' COMMENTS
Located in the heart of Upper Queen Anne, Ototo offers a dining experience that is a comfortable blend between the contemporary and the old. Fresh fish, beautiful presentation, and a generally friendly crowd make it a fine place to dine. Zagat Rated 2008.USER REVIEWS
Nice sushi on top of the hill Posted Jun 03, 2010 by Madd
A straightforward sushi restaurant with good quality, decent prices, and a friendly staff. The sushi was good as well as the other appetizers that I tried, and I walked away from the experience without regretting my investment. It's definitely a place I wouldn't mind revisiting when I find myself on top of Queen Anne.
good for dates? Posted Dec 05, 2006 by monkeys
ototo definitely isn't the cheapest restaurant by any measure, but it's pretty tasty. what's good about ototo is that you can buy nigiri by the piece, as opposed to by the pair, so if you're poor but still want to eat some toro or ama ebi, you don't have to shell out $8+ for it... you only need to shell out $4. the decor and style of the place are also really great, and the service is fantastic and polite (maybe a little TOO polite). no real big complaints, other than the price.
One of the best sushi places I've been to in Seattle Posted Aug 29, 2006 by xiaojie848
After trying half a dozen sushi places, I've concluded there is no better place for the quality and value Ototo offers. The fish is always fresh and tasty.
I eat specifically nigiri/sashimi, but their tempura has a delightfully light batter and their amaebi (sweet shrimp) is unsurpassed. Service is polite and only a bit slow during rush hours. Located in a quaint Queen Anne neighbourhood, free parking is usually pretty easy. HIGHLY recommended! |
