Located in the heart of Belltown, dining at Wasabi Bistro is a contemporary sushi experience chock full of heavy sushi rolls and spins on other Japanese dishes. Expect drunken people and loud music during late nights and slow service during lunch.

A nice place to grab some rolls while you're in downtown

Wasabi bistro is already well known as a hangout for young people in Belltown. The reputation is deserved through the friendly staff and wide selection of sushi+rolls. The quality of the fish is very good, and the selection is great as well. The prices are reasonable for what you get and it's one of the few sushi places in Belltown that I don't regret spending money at after I eat.

Mind Blowing!!!

I and my family are sushi fanatics. That being said, we know a thing or two about sushi (not experts but if you follow your tongue, you can't go wrong!). We were initially in love with this place called Shota in Bellevue, but due to the location...next to an adult store... it didn't last long. Then we found Wasabi and it is quite possibly the best in the northwest. The ingredients are fresh and the service was FAST! The chefs are talented people who deserve a bow. I suggest the seattle tempura roll, las vegas roll, or the godzilla roll with a nice sweet glass of muscatel or plum wine. Bon appetite!

Love it!

This place has to be one of my favorite places for sushi in Seattle...EVER!! I eat here at least once a week and never get tired of it. It's alway fresh and delicious! The more sushi you order the better the presentation gets! LOVE IT!

GO FIGURE IT DOES GREAT BUSINESS

For those new to the city, Wasabi Bistro has great ambience as the interior decor has a very "downtown" feel, along with the presence of the jazz musicians that perform live nightly.
The service is wonderful. I was seated at a table that was already reserved b/c I told the servers that my party and I would be out the door before the reservation took effect. However it did not turn out that way and I ended up sitting at the table waiting for my gfs to come until 8:00 which was when the reserved party would show up! The hostess and servers were so kind and did not make me feel awkward or burdened by any means, and allowed me to have that table and said they would figure something out and I should sit back and relax. When my gfs finally arrived, the manager would stop by and ask how everything went, and even treated me out for dessert b/c he heard from the waitress that it was my birthday dinner.
It was so professional, and definitely how a restaurant should be run!

I give it a 7 out of 10

Alright, so a friend and fellow sushi lover and I decided to try the Wasabi Bistro. My family owns a sushiya so I know enough about sushi to know good sushi when I see and taste one. The atmosphere is great, very modern--east meets west. Great bar area--the sushi bar and the wet bar. It's dinner time so I ordered one of their featured martini, the Blonde Geisha. It looks like a Cosmo with strawberries pulp on the bottom. The taste is WOW--mixed with plum wine and mushed strawberries. My friend just ordered a Midori Sake--he liked it. We had a wide variety of nigiris-mackerel,unagi, yellowtail, salmon, tuna, and kanpachi. We also tried a tuna roll, a rainbow roll, and a tarantula roll. Oh, and I also ordered a Sunomono, which I was disappointed with. They only let me choose one fish, I got yellowtail, but I thought sunomono is an assortment of fish salad-type. The sushi was O.K.--not as fresh as I expected with the price being that high.I am though very happy with the service

Great happy hour

Its delicious, trendy, and pricey - its in Belltown, what do you expect? If you can try to hit up the happy hour - the choice are great and prices very reasonable.

The restaurant is smartly decorated - very modern feel. Service is super and the sushi is fresh and yum.
